Description
Generic floor polisher pads (also known as rotary floor buffer pads) are non-woven, synthetic fiber discs designed to attach to commercial single disc floor machines or auto scrubbers. They are engineered to strip, scrub, clean, buff, or polish a wide variety of hard floor surfaces like marble, terrazzo, concrete, and vinyl tile (VCT).
To ensure safety and performance, the commercial cleaning industry uses a universal, color-coded grading system where darker pads are aggressive and lighter pads are non-abrasive.
White Polishing Pad: The absolute softest, 100% non-abrasive synthetic disc. It contains no scratching minerals and is the standard choice for the final buff on delicate marble, terrazzo, and high-gloss waxes.
Red Buffing Pad: are versatile, mildly abrasive floor maintenance discs designed for routine cleaning, light heel mark removal, and spray buffing on polished hard floors.
Green Scrubbing Pads: are medium-to-heavy abrasive discs designed for deep cleaning, heavy duty soil removal, and top scrubbing worn hard floors.
Black stripping pads are the most aggressive, highly abrasive floor discs available in the commercial janitorial industry. They are designed exclusively for heavy duty floor stripping to completely remove old wax, acrylic sealers, and deeply embedded grime from hard floors.
