Description

A powerful, concentrated alkaline-based chemical solution designed to dissolve, emulsify, and remove built-up layers of floor wax, polymer finishes, and sealers. It penetrates thick polish coatings, leaving hard surfaces completely bare and perfectly prepped for a fresh, new wax application.

Key Characteristics

  • Chemical Breakdown: The formula uses high-pH alkaline builders to break down the resinous binders (like acrylics and polymers) that hold the wax film to the floor. 
  • Concentrated: Most commercial and industrial strippers must be diluted with water—typically ranging from 1:4 (heavily soiled) to 1:10 (lightly soiled) ratios.
  • Surface Compatibility: Generally safe for resilient flooring (like VCT) and masonry. However, it can damage certain soft floors like unsealed wood or linoleum if not used correctly.
  • Specialized Use: Specialized non-hazardous variants are also used in semiconductor and industrial manufacturing to safely remove mounting waxes from silicon wafers and metals
